Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Nuclear Commissioning Project Leader in Barrow-In-Furness to lead planning and execution of a defined test section within a wider nuclear commissioning programme. The role supports and mentors multidisciplinary commissioning engineers, authorises test documentation, manages test and commissioning programmes in a complex nuclear environment, reviews engineering outputs, and embeds Learning from Experience across the programme. Candidates need an engineering degree or equivalent experience, a mechanical or electrical background, nuclear and submarine systems knowledge, and experience with nuclear-licensed or COMAH sites and Cat B nuclear operations. The role is onsite, offers a £2000 referral bonus, and may provide relocation support for submarine roles.
