Forge is hiring a Nuclear Engineering Intern/Co-op to contribute to the design and safety analysis of its first reactor, Ember. The role covers reactor physics simulations, criticality and depletion analysis, reactivity coefficients, shielding, radiation release and dose analysis, analysis-tool automation, and collaboration with fluids, structures, components, and manufacturing engineers. The position is based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County, requires relocation if the applicant is not already local, and is full-time in the office for the duration of the internship or co-op term. Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 terms are available, with compensation of $28.00 per hour for engineering interns or freshmen/sophomores and $30.00 per hour for engineering interns or juniors/seniors.
