TerraPower is hiring a full-time Nuclear Exam Writer to develop and manage licensing examinations for its Natrium fast sodium reactor program. The role focuses on creating and maintaining Initial License Training and Licensed Operator Continuing Training exams, Knowledge and Abilities catalogs, and related validation materials in compliance with NRC regulations and advanced-reactor guidance, while collaborating with internal reactor, human factors, training, and licensing teams as well as the NRC. Candidates need prior NRC reactor operator or senior reactor operator licensing/certification, five years of nuclear plant operations or operator training experience, strong technical writing skills, and export-control eligibility; a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and experience with licensing exam development are preferred. The position is based in Wyoming State with a posted salary range of $141,385 to $212,079 and includes medical, dental, and vision benefits among others.
