Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures, image acquisition and the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease, under prescribed safety conditions. They operate Nuclear Medicine equipment, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, calibrate equipment, and maintain records in accordance with regulations. The role involves evaluating images, rotating assignments in Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT, and performing clerical duties using systems like EPIC and PACS. Responsibilities also include ensuring patient safety, adhering to organizational competencies, and performing daily and monthly QA.
