Description
The Nuclear Pharmacist prepares and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals in a micro-pharmacy, following sterile compounding and radiation-safety practices. The role includes compounding, labeling, inventory management, equipment and product quality-control testing, hazardous-material handling, waste disposal, radiation surveys, regulatory data entry, and supervision of pharmacy employees. It is primarily a day-shift position with 8-hour Monday-through-Friday shifts, early start times, and occasional Saturday hours. Candidates must hold a Pharm.D. or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, be licensed or eligible to practice pharmacy, and be authorized to use radioactive materials.
