Description
SLB’s Houston Formation Evaluation center is hiring an Engineering Scientist focused on nuclear physics and particle transport in electric fields. The role combines experimental work with modeling to develop and validate hardware prototypes and commercial products based on pulsed neutron generators, while also contributing to testing, documentation, technical reviews, commercialization, customer support, and mentoring. Candidates need a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a related field, programming experience, and general experience with nuclear particle accelerators; pulsed neutron or x-ray generator experience is preferred. The position is primarily on-site in a laboratory environment with modest remote-work flexibility.
