The role involves planning and executing reprocessing, secondary dismantling, and decontamination of radioactively contaminated waste; preparing work areas according to radiation, occupational safety, and health protection requirements; performing mechanical reprocessing, contamination monitoring, radiological measurements, wipe tests, data documentation, and clearance measurements. Applicants need a technical or trade apprenticeship, several years of nuclear engineering facility experience, valid radiation protection fitness and a radiation pass, successful security screening, and strong technical, manual, safety, and teamwork skills.
