Description
Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is hiring a Nuclear Systems Engineer (Computer Engineering) in Perry, Ohio to administer plant computer systems, networks, and peripheral equipment. The role supports corrective and preventative maintenance, troubleshoots complex computer issues, maintains system reliability, develops upgrade and modification strategies, integrates cyber security requirements, and performs Emergency Response Organization duties. A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a similar field is preferred, along with at least four years of engineering experience; prior professional-level engineering or computer system support experience is desired. Knowledge of C++, Windows, Linux, networking, firewalls, and cyber security is preferred, with training provided.
