Description
The Nurse Intern provides routine patient care for infants through geriatric patients, including activities of daily living, hygiene, comfort, ambulation, and unit maintenance. The role assists professional and practical nursing staff, documents patient records, advocates for patients, maintains confidentiality, supports performance improvement, and works effectively with patients, families, visitors, and hospital teams. Applicants must be enrolled in an RN program approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and have completed the first semester of nursing clinicals, along with CPR-BLS certification.
