Description
The Nurse Manager oversees the clinical and operational functions of a nursing unit, including patient care quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, employee development, delegation, resource allocation, budget oversight, and performance improvement. The role also performs and supervises nursing care, treatments, therapies, procedures, medication administration, and patient education. It requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, current registered nurse licensure, BLS certification, and progression toward an MSN or qualifying master's degree, with management experience preferred.
