Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing care for all residents in a long-term care facility, supervising licensed nurses and other nursing personnel, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality of care, and coordinating with the Director of Nursing Services on policies, staffing, admissions, infection control, training, documentation, and survey preparation. The role also includes administrative oversight, staff scheduling, quality assurance, workplace safety, and occasional direct patient care, including medication administration and specialized treatments.
