Description

The Clinical Nurse Navigator provides clinical nursing expertise in an assigned area while serving as a clinical resource, advocate, and educator in a multidisciplinary clinic setting. Responsibilities include patient-centered care, follow-up on testing and procedure results, preparation of clinic notes, coordination of follow-up visits, orders, and referrals, participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, and training of support staff. The role requires an associate's degree or higher in nursing or equivalent training and experience, a current or applied-for D.C.
