DOCS Health is hiring Nurse Practitioners as independent contractors to provide health readiness services to U.S. military service members in Colorado. The role primarily involves weekend work, with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, and includes physical health assessments, medical-record review, interviews, identification of urgent concerns, and documentation of readiness classifications. The position requires an active Nurse Practitioner license, CPR/BLS certification, adaptability to high-volume environments, and availability for travel and extended hours; primary-care, urgent-care, occupational-health, mobile-medical, military-systems, and weekend-travel experience are preferred. The role does not require diagnosing, treating, or prescribing medications.
