DOCS Health is hiring Nurse Practitioners as independent contractors to provide health readiness services to U.S. military service members in Kansas. The role primarily involves weekend work, with occasional weekday assignments under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, and includes physical health assessments, medical-record review, interviews, identification of urgent behavioral-health concerns, and documentation of readiness classifications. The position requires an active Nurse Practitioner license in the state, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to work extended hours and travel to various locations, including remote military installations; primary-care, urgent-care, occupational-health, mobile-medical, military-systems, and weekend-travel experience are preferred. The role does not require diagnosing, treating, or prescribing medications.
