Description
Provides primary health care to a defined patient population under written protocols and established nursing standards. The role diagnoses and treats diseases, defects, or injuries; recommends or prescribes treatments; documents care and billing; and contributes to managed-care education, quality assurance, utilization management, information systems selection, patient education, satisfaction surveys, budgeting, and operational improvement. It is a non-management nurse practitioner position with variable shifts at Prisma Health's Trauma Surgery practice in Richland, South Carolina.
