Description
The Nurse Practitioner conducts comprehensive patient assessments, reviews medical histories, performs physical examinations, interprets diagnostic tests, documents encounters, advises patients on preventative care, refers patients for further testing, and relays information between clinics and physicians. The role requires an MSN or DNP, national certification, state NP licensure, adult and geriatric patient experience, strong clinical and communication skills, and knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures. The schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 20–25 hours per week.
