Description
The Nurse Practitioner records physical findings, formulates plans and prognoses, discusses cases with physicians and other health professionals, prepares comprehensive patient care plans, prescribes or recommends treatment, monitors patient progress, and collaborates with hospice employees and volunteers. The role requires at least two years of hospice, home health, or community health experience within the past five years, completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, state licensure, and the ability to lift objects exceeding 20 pounds and perform physically demanding duties.
