Description
The Nurse Practitioner provides palliative-care consultation, symptom management, supportive care, diagnosis, treatment, medication prescribing, diagnostic ordering, patient and family education, care planning, recordkeeping, and interdisciplinary collaboration for seriously ill patients and families. The role requires at least five years of nursing experience, a master’s degree in nursing, state licensure, clinical nurse specialist or practitioner certification, ANCC or AANP certification, and a DEA license; oncology, hospice, geriatrics, and intensive-care experience are preferred.
