Description
The Palliative Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides patient-centered palliative care, including clarifying goals of care, coordinating hospice, rehabilitation, and other treatment options, assisting with acute and chronic conditions, consulting with physicians, educating staff and the community, maintaining medical records, prescribing medications, ordering diagnostics and treatments, and contributing to clinical practice guidelines. The role requires at least five years of nursing experience, ARNP-CRNP certification, an MSN, and state licensure; oncology, hospice, geriatrics, and intensive-care experience are preferred.
