Description
The Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse assists physicians in delivering primary medical care by obtaining patient history and physical data, interpreting findings, determining diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, managing treatment plans, providing technical assistance, and maintaining patient and employee relationships. The role practices under physician supervision and requires physical ability to move, position, and transport patients and equipment for up to eight hours per day. Preferred qualifications include accredited physician assistant or graduate nursing training, Physician Assistant certification, current Kentucky board licensure, current state board of nursing licensure, Advanced Practitioner RN registration, and national-level nurse practitioner certification or eligibility.
