Description
The Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide advanced cardiovascular clinical care in collaboration with physicians. The role assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care across inpatient, outpatient, infusion, and emergency settings; manages pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments; coordinates interdisciplinary care; and contributes to committees, projects, education, research, mentoring, and quality activities. Candidates need a master’s degree from an accredited CRNP or PA program, current Louisiana licensure and national certification, BLS and ACLS certification, EKG course completion within 12 months, and at least five years of healthcare experience.
