The Cardiac & Vascular Institute is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Gainesville, Florida, to provide outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care. The role evaluates patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, manages diagnoses and medications, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, coordinates with cardiologists and other providers, educates patients, and maintains electronic medical records. Applicants must graduate from an accredited NP or PA program, hold current national certification, and be licensed or eligible for Florida licensure; cardiology, hospital medicine, or acute care experience is beneficial but not required.
