Description
The Nurse Practitioner provides primary and episodic patient care, performs physical examinations and assessments, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, defines differential diagnoses, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, writes prescriptions, and coordinates care. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, at least two years of clinical experience, Nurse Practitioner board certification, current state licensure, DEA licensure, traditional nursing assessment and management skills, and BLS certification.
