The Nurse Practitioner - PPV at Compassus is responsible for delivering compassionate, ethical, and innovative palliative or hospice care to patients facing chronic, complex, or life-threatening conditions. They conduct assessments, educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment options, manage symptoms, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves performing bedside palliative care, interpreting lab results, prescribing medications, ordering treatments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, they contribute to professional growth, participate in meetings, supervise trainees, and engage in continuous learning.
