Description
The Nurse Practitioner provides primary health care and continuity of medical services under the direction of supervising physicians, evaluating patients, taking medical histories, assessing conditions, interpreting findings, maintaining quality standards, and responding to emergencies. The role requires a master’s degree from an accredited NP program, ACNP certification, current Ohio licensure, a current Certificate to Prescribe, at least five years of acute-care Registered Nurse experience, malpractice insurance, HIPAA knowledge, strong communication skills, and computer literacy including Excel, Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records.
