Description
ChildServe is hiring a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive inpatient care for children and young adults up to age 30 with complex medical needs and intellectual or developmental disabilities. The role includes assessments, diagnosis, treatment and medication prescribing, care planning, patient and family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and limited nursing supervision. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with temporary after-hours and weekend call rotation. Required qualifications include a master’s or doctorate in nursing, ARNP specialty education and an Iowa license in pediatric or family nurse practice, and three years of nurse practitioner experience; inpatient, pediatric complexity, or intellectual/developmental disability experience is preferred.
