The Nurse Aide provides basic patient care and support to nursing staff at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth, including hygiene, grooming, mobility assistance, positioning, toileting, vital-sign documentation, and assistance with admission, transfer, and discharge. The role requires critical thinking, teamwork, prioritization, and the ability to work in a stressful environment; CPR/BCLS certification is required, while six months of acute or long-term care experience is preferred. The schedule is 3x12 days from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with rotating weekends, and the position offers medical, dental, and vision coverage along with other benefits.
