Description
The Department of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is hiring a full-time Nursing Assistant 2 for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) on the night shift. The role provides hands-on patient care under the direction of licensed or higher-level clinical staff, including hygiene, feeding, mobility, positioning, specimen collection, vital-sign measurement, intake and output monitoring, basic treatments, oxygen equipment checks, patient transport, and reporting abnormal patient conditions. It may also involve training new staff and performing housekeeping duties related to direct patient care.
