Description
The Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care in a hospital setting, including assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, positioning, transportation, medication delivery, vital-sign recording, EKGs, specimen collection, and phlebotomy. The role also supports room and equipment cleaning, documentation, quality assurance, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other departments. A high school diploma, good communication and customer service skills, and BLS certification are required.
