Description
The PRN Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and support in WellSpan Evangelical Hospital’s intermediate care and medical-surgical units. Duties include monitoring patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, removing peripheral IVs and indwelling urinary catheters, performing point-of-care testing and EKGs, collecting specimens, preparing and transporting patients, and maintaining supplies and equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, less than one year of relevant experience, and Basic Life Support upon hire; Certified Nurse Aide certification is preferred.
