Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the registered nurse with delegated patient-care activities and additional functions for which the employee has been prepared, while incorporating the hospital's customer-service program. The role is accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved nursing assistant program or current nursing student status with at least one clinical rotation, and BLS certification; one year of nursing assistant experience and CNA certification are preferred.
