Description
The Technical Partner provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN, including activities of daily living, patient transport, vital-signs collection, equipment setup, specimen delivery, infection control, and patient advocacy. The role may also perform clinical skills such as EKGs, blood glucose testing, ostomy care, catheter care, and telemetry lead application, and may serve as a preceptor or mentor. It requires a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, Act 33 and Act 34, and an Act 73 FBI clearance; preferred qualifications include a Nurse Aide or comparable program, computer skills, phlebotomy, and EKG experience. The position rotates shifts, may include standby and on-call work, and may require local travel between Independence Health locations.
