Description
The Nursing Attendant supports patient care in a 17-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit by performing delegated treatments and tasks, assisting with activities of daily living and hygiene, monitoring patient conditions, responding to call lights and emergencies, transporting medications, and maintaining a safe environment. The role follows a PRN schedule requiring at least 24 hours off each six-week cycle, with 12-hour day, evening, or night shifts and weekend and holiday availability. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, while prior Nursing Attendant, Nurse Aide, or nurse aide training experience is required; Basic Life Support certification is also required.
