Description
The Registered Nurse Supervisor directs and supervises a department or program delivering health care services, including staff Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Approved Medication Assistive Personnel. The role oversees medical quality assurance, medication administration, documentation, compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations, admission and discharge planning, crisis intervention, infection control, and employee hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations. It requires a nursing degree, RN certification, five years of experience including three years of management experience, AMAP approval or willingness to obtain it within 60 days, and travel as needed.
