Description
Johnston Community College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings; develop course materials; advise and recruit students; maintain student records and program equipment; coordinate with affiliating health agencies; and ensure compliance with clinical health, screening, and vaccine requirements. The role requires at least an Associate Degree in Nursing, an unencumbered North Carolina Board of Nursing registered nurse license, BLS certification, two years of registered nursing experience totaling 4,000 hours, and experience or coursework in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is also required.
