Description
The Medication Aide provides direct care to residents in a long-term care setting by administering and assisting with the self-administration of routine and non-routine non-injectable medications, monitoring vital signs and resident conditions, maintaining medication and treatment records, supporting activities of daily living, and following infection-control and safety practices. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a current CNA/HCA license, a medication pass certification, First Aid and CPR certification, a Food Handlers card, and a criminal background and fingerprint check.
