The Nursing Operations Coordinator supports ongoing and new nursing operations programs and initiatives, including interviewing, hiring, placement, onboarding, training, simulation, clinical-student onboarding, competency tracking, reporting, and best-practice dissemination. The role may also oversee CNE activities, quality-improvement or AHA courses, electronic manikin assignments, class scheduling, mock codes, equipment maintenance, and evening BLS, ACLS, and PALS instruction. It requires previous nursing experience, Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, current CPR certification, and, for Nursing Operations work, a BSN and instructor certifications within one year. The position works in an office setting with travel across Springfield, Peoria, and surrounding Springfield Clinic locations.
