Description
The Nursing Professional Development Generalist plans and develops training, education, lesson plans, testing, competency evaluations, and self-study modules for nursing staff. The role supports new-employee orientation, continuing education, accreditation documentation, quality performance criteria, and staff learning needs, while collaborating across departments. It requires at least four years of recent acute-care medical-surgical bedside experience, a bachelor's degree in nursing, a current unrestricted Louisiana RN license, BLS certification, and strong communication, critical-thinking, organizational, time-management, and public-speaking skills.
