The Nursing Professional Development Generalist plans and develops training, orientation, continuing education, competency-based performance criteria, testing, and evaluation tools for nursing personnel. The role also maintains educational documentation and accreditation records, supports staff learning needs, and collaborates across departments. Requirements include four years of clinical experience, a bachelor's degree, an unrestricted Louisiana RN license, BLS certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
