Description
The Nursing Professional Development Specialist plans and develops training, orientation, continuing education, competency-based performance criteria, testing, and evaluation tools for nursing personnel. The role also coordinates training activities, maintains educational documentation and accreditation records, supports staff learning needs, and collaborates across departments. Requirements include four years of clinical experience, a master's degree, a current and unrestricted Louisiana RN license, BLS certification, and specialty certifications where applicable; strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, time-management, and public-speaking skills are also required.
