Description
The Nursing Scheduler maintains staffing operations across AIP and CIP shifts, generates and updates master schedules, adjusts coverage for census changes, call-ins, and leaves, and secures FT, PT, per diem, and registry staff. The role also manages employee contact and attendance records, processes leave requests, communicates with registry agencies and nursing leadership, tracks training, verifies payroll accuracy, and handles time-clock corrections. The position requires administrative clerical support experience in a psychiatric or healthcare environment, MS Word, Excel, and data-entry software experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work overtime or additional days as needed.
