Description
Meritus is hiring a full-time Nutrition Services Assistant for a 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. schedule with weekend rotation. The role prepares, serves, and delivers meals; sanitizes kitchen areas; handles food safely; labels and stores food using FIFO; and supports infection control and kitchen cleanliness. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior food service, customer service, or healthcare experience are preferred, along with the ability to follow instructions, measure ingredients, perform basic math, and work in a fast-paced team environment. The position requires extended standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and tolerance of kitchen noise and temperature fluctuations.
