Description
The Long Beach Unified School District is hiring a substitute food-service worker to assist with quantity preparation, packaging, serving, sanitation, cashiering, food storage, and operation of nutrition-service equipment at a school site or central kitchen. The role generally requires 2–3 hours per day during midday hours, may be used for substitute work or future vacancies, and is paid at a flat hourly rate without health and welfare benefits or salary step advancements. Applicants must complete the eighth grade, have sufficient training or experience, and a Food Handler's certificate is desirable.
