Description
The role prepares and serves nutritional meals and snacks, cleans and sanitizes kitchen and dining areas, stores food safely, maintains inventory, and sets up dining service. It requires food-handling knowledge, cleaning and sanitizing practices, independent work, and the ability to perform physically demanding kitchen duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED and one year of kitchen experience are preferred, while equivalent training and experience may substitute; Food Handler’s Certification or the ability to obtain it is required.
