Description
The Job Corps Recruiter and Placement Specialist recruits eligible youth, conducts outreach and interviews, manages applicant files, coordinates travel, assesses placement readiness, and promotes job development with employers and employment agencies. The role also supports graduate and former enrollee placement and retention in quality jobs, the military, or further education and training, while maintaining a safe and accountable center environment. Qualifications include public speaking, communication, problem-solving, computer literacy, evening and weekend availability, periodic travel, four years of experience working with youth ages 16–24, a bachelor’s degree, and a valid state driver’s license; 15 semester hours of psychology are preferred.
