Description
The Job Corps Recruiter and Placement Specialist recruits eligible youth, conducts outreach and applicant interviews, manages applicant files, coordinates travel, performs quality-assurance checks, assesses placement readiness, and promotes job development with employers and employment agencies. The role requires public speaking, communication, problem-solving, computer literacy, evening and weekend availability, periodic travel, four years of experience working with youth ages 16–24, a bachelor’s degree, and a valid state driver’s license; 15 semester hours of psychology are preferred.
