Description
The OSOP Community Recovery Coach supports pregnant and postpartum patients referred from the Obstetrics Department by conducting substance-use screenings, community outreach, and linkage to recovery and substance-use treatment services. The role provides non-clinical support to patients and families, helps secure transportation and other resources, and may meet patients in the hospital or at ambulatory appointments. A high school diploma or GED, strong organization and communication skills, Microsoft Office knowledge, and certification through the Maryland Addiction Professional Board within 12 months are required.
