Description
The OBGYN Social Worker provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, intervention, and support to patients and families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, gynecological conditions, and family planning. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, participates in case reviews, maintains confidentiality, develops care plans using social work theory, completes safety planning, connects patients with community resources, and manages daily assignments. A master's degree in social work and two years of social work experience are required; hospital social work experience and LMSW are preferred, while MSW licensure in New York within 12 months is accepted. The position pays $30.00–$42.00 per hour, with starting pay based on experience.
