Description
Tulip is hiring an Observability Engineer in Somerville, Massachusetts, in a hybrid environment requiring at least three days per week in the office. The role focuses on mentoring engineering teams on observability, SLIs/SLOs, and reliability; contributing to incident response and remediation; debugging production issues; and designing and maintaining infrastructure and tooling for engineering teams. The position requires at least five years of experience with open-source observability tools, distributed-system instrumentation with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, time-series data, and AI process development. The technology stack includes TypeScript and Go services, Kubernetes, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Tempo, Alloy, and Prometheus. The salary range is $160,000 to $200,000 per year.
