Description

LSEG is hiring a Senior Associate Engineer to build and evolve its internal observability platform. The role focuses on product engineering, particularly designing, building, testing, and documenting Cribl pipelines, OpenTelemetry configurations, ClickHouse schemas, Grafana dashboards, and integrations with downstream systems. It also involves infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CI/CD and GitOps workflows, code reviews, documentation, and collaboration across multiple locations and time zones.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on Cribl experience building and operating pipelines, routes, and packs in a production environment
Software or platform engineering experience delivering production-quality features in a team environment
Experience developing integrations using REST APIs or event-driven patterns
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CI/CD pipeline tooling
Understanding of telemetry concepts including metrics, logs, traces, cardinality, retention, and pipeline design
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CriblCloud or Cribl Edge deployment patterns
Experience building or contributing to internal platforms used by multiple engineering teams
Experience with ClickHouse SQL or similar columnar or analytical query languages
Familiarity with cloud environments or hybrid on-premises and cloud deployment patterns
Experience with GitOps workflows and practices
Experience in a regulated, financial services, or large enterprise technology environment
